Soulistic Cat Food Review 39 S 3 Cats
I now use Soulistic only for the one cat who tends to be chubby. I had two cats who were thriving on it. Then one developed an intolerance to any chicken cat foods made it the Thailand factories. Not just Soulistic or Weruva, but Petite Cuisine too. So she stopped getting it. Then, a new batch of Soulistic came in, and when I started on that case, the OTHER cat started getting diarrhea. Your cat will love the wholesome, tasty meats and juices in Soulistic Adult Canned Cat Food in Gravy, available exclusively from Petco. This natural cat food is specially formulated to promote balance, health and wellness in your feline friend. Soulistic food specializes in reflecting a hearty human diet in its canned cat food varieties. Even the site where the limited ingredient natural cat food is made is a USDA-approved human facility so you know that what you feed your cat is just as high in quality as what you would consume. IMO Weruva and whatever else they make are pretty good for what it is: canned cat food, cooked to high temps, etc. You can go through all the marketing assurances, like being made in a facility that makes human food, human grade ingredients, etc. From what I have been able to discern from various sources, it should be a fairly safe and reliable food. It does have more moisture than some other cans (and thus fewer calories) so something to be aware of. Figuring out the calorie content in these things is a big undertaking itself; there are a few charts floating around out there but not always of the cans you want. And they do use a lot of fish. (At the moment this isn't bothering me; my cat eats wet food with some kind of fish in or basically doesn't eat wet food. I'd rather her eat something that's not dry at least partly.) I do have Weruva and Soulistic cans in the mix I'm feeding, and I'm also using cans from Fussie Cat (this is actually the main one right now) and Tiki Cat. They all have a source in Thailand and may well all be made in the same plant. Not necessarily good if that plant has a problem, but I have trouble finding other things that are textured in such a way that the cat will eat.Feed according to the age, size and activity of your cat. If fed alone, feed 1 oz. for each pound of bodyweight daily, best to feed twice a day. Your cat should always have access to clean, fresh water. Refrigerate after opening. Soulistic cat food is formulated to meet nutritional levels established by the AAFCO Cat Food Nutrient Profiles for adult maintenance.
